Players without GW:EN who have the M.O.X quest get free access to a whole explorable.
Since the M.O.X quest takes people to Ice Cliff Chasms in GW:EN (Golem Tutorial Simulation), if they have Factions, they can use [Recall] on the Golems near the portal in the area to get past them, into the complete explorable with no foes. From there, they can potentially explore an empty Eye of the North and Hall of Monuments without owning the game. The question is, do people who don't have GW:EN actually go to Ice Cliff Chasms? If they do, does the exploration of the area through this method start the "Adventurer of the North" title track anyway? If Ice Cliff Chasms is more than 0.99% of the total map area, they'll get one point through map exploration.

I didn't find this out, it was mentioned in the M.O.X forum thread and on the Wiki. I only now thought about the consequences of the sept 5 update (which fixes access for non-GW:EN players.)

If they don't have EoTN, then having 0.1% of Legendary master of the north isn't going to do them any good. If they desperately want to map it, let them imo.

what if you do have EOTN? does it let u explore the areas with no enemies, are you actually in the zone or what. If you are would vanquishing be done easily

edit: it doesnt do much, doesn't let u in areas but it could be useful for master of the north players. I have some pretty nice screenshots
the eye of the north is empty - the hall of monuments happens to have the tapestrys though which is funny because this character only has one
you can go to the ends of the earth no not really. Some similar stuff to the eradon terrace glitch.

I don't really see a problem with it. Factions has a few "free" Vanquishes too. It's not that big of a deal.

Worked for me after third try. It's a fun glitch. That way you can explore without monsters which I find quite relaxing. I'll post pics later.
PS: I own EotN btw.

nope thats not it. thats a bug saying if you didn't own EOTN there was problems with getting to the Golem training area. This actually says you can now go there.

sigh ffs, this bug has been there for ages, since factions, I don't think they'll fix it, they would've done that ages ago then, since this guy saw my video of it, posted it on wiki too lol, he actually sent messages to Arenanet saying they have to delete my account blahblah youtube account too mayb. not sure if this is the same guy though, anyways I don't give a sh*t and neither does Arenanet I think. He actually thought I was doing something Illegal (although I'm sad he didn't gimme any credit for it here haha)
glad everyone here agrees that it makes no difference in the game.

who cares if people who don't have EOTN gets to explore an area in EOTN that doesn't have monsters? They're not going to get any of the EOTN skinned weapons, they're not going to vanquish the area, they're not even going to come close to master of the north tier 1 by mapping it. Get over it.
